Research Interests
The Chen laboratory is interested in how the gut microbiome impacts human health and disease, with a particular focus on inflammatory bowel disease and C. difficile infections. Our team leverages the understanding of longitudinal microbiome dynamics and high dimensional clinical datasets to explore the etiology and clinical characteristics of inflammatory intestinal disorders.
