Rutgers is consolidating all NJMS REDCap projects into the Centralized Rutgers REDCap instance to provide a more streamlined and secure experience.
As a result the NJMS REDCap instance (This REDCap Server) is to be decommissioned. The scheduled shutdown date for NJMS REDCap is December 1, 2026.
We ask that all new Redcap users utilize the Rutgers Centralized Redcap Instance located at https://redcap.rutgers.edu. No new projects are to be opened on this NJMS REDCap server.
For those who have existing projects on NJMS REDCap, the Rutgers Centralized REDCap team has put in place resources and training to assist with your transition to the New Rutgers REDCap.

- An active Rutgers NETID

Policy Changes
- Projects in Development Status will be limited to 20 records for testing purposes.
- Once your project is ready for data collection, move it to Production. There is no record limit in the
- Production status.
Under new licensing terms, this NJMS REDCap instance is solely used for hosting projects that are primarily sponsored by New Jersey Medical School, except certain schools (UH, SHP) with covered agreement. All projects should be migrated to the new Rutgers Centralized REDCap instance prior to December 2026. For non-covered school/units, please plan your project and data migration ASAP if you haven't done so. Contact your local IT at your school for REDCap setup and support. We will be phasing out all non-covered projects and user access by the end of 2026. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
