DNA Banking
BACKGROUND:
DNA isolated from blood or other tissue is purified and cryogenically preserved so that material for future genetic analysis is readily available. A signed informed consent acknowledging voluntary participation in DNA banking is required. A single fee will be charged for service. All shipping fees are the responsibility of the patient or guardian of the specimen.
SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS:
Blood: 3-5 ml purple top (EDTA) vacutainer of whole blood inverted several times to mix. Forward within 48 hours at room temperature.
Payment must be in the form of a Check, Money order or provide Institutional Account established through Rutgers NJMS. We do not provide third party billing to insurance companies.
